Bad Miguel's Mexican Restaurant 1841 Kiowa Avenue, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403

"Having time to kill, I figured we would stop and have some chips and salsa and a couple tacos. Chips and salsa came quick, but our order wasn't taken for 15 minutes. We placed our orders, then at the 30 minute mark and running short on time I asked for the order to go. At the 35 minute mark I asked to pay so that I could leave when the food was ready. Waitress made a ticket, which I paid. Then she brought out food a few minutes later along with another bill, but for $10 less than I just paid. I showed her my receipt of what I just paid, and with the clueless look she gave and no time to figure it out we left. Got home later to eat, and the order wasn't even correct. Good food, horrible waitress."

"The food was very good but the service was extremely bad! We were told to sit anywhere then after 10 minutes of waiting for a menu we got up and got our own. No he said a word to us! Then it took 10 more minutes for someone to come take our order after they had taken someone else’s that came in after us. This happened to at least 4 other tables at least as we sat there. The waitress attitude was horrible !!"

"Great food! Great service! Loved the Chile Relleno smothered in Chili Verde, shrimp cocktail, and the sopes... We liked it so much the first night, we went back the next night."

"Excellent service, very friendly & welcoming. I had a margarita (not the famous 6 shot), and the sopes appetizer- flavorful and delicious. I was in Lake Havasu for the day & Bad Miguel's was a recommendation by a local. If locals eat there, you know it has to be good. Give them a try."

"I eat here many times a month. Julio, my favorite waiter, is a very nice young man and always pleasant and in a good mood. We always enjoy his stories at our table and we consider him our friend. His niece also works here but I cannot remember her name right now but she is always courteous and very nice also. And now for the food. This picture was taken at breakfast. For 3.75 this is great food. They have an outside patio with a great view of the lake or you can eat inside. On Thursday it's half price at 4 PM till closing. We always look forward to eating here several times a week."
