"Beware the "shin killer" shopping carts. I'm badly bruised and in pain. Store is always a mess. Makes me want to avoid altogether."

"Well today a super bad experience, I regularly visit this store and I spend a lot of money here with my 3 children a week, but today was my last visit, their employee who hates cleaning the bathrooms didn't let me in, she said let's go to the bathroom , the other bathroom was closed and I asked her I need a key she said go target without even looking up, we looked for the manager or manager on duty and he said oh you need to put a coin to enter I'll come back with a coin and the lady said in a very bad way and yelling go target so if we go to this establishment and any customer needs to target the bathroom? They should see the people they hire and if they are really suitable for the job, if they don't like their job and customer service is a bad place for them to work there, the manager started talking on the cell phone instead of fixing the situation. he leaves five below a very bad reputation with poor customer service. today I really miss the person who always welcomes me to the store"

"Two recommendations after several visits to this location that could potentially raise my score, and business profits. 1. If employees complain about the company, or anything for that matter, do so when no customers are in the store. I often hear things that are so uncomfortable, I end up leaving the store and purchasing a similar item somewhere else. 2. When customers walk in, use soft and joyful tunes and add personal eye contact for warm greetings. I have walked out of the store a few times just from the greeting alone."

"Meh. The store is generally clean and organized, so that's good. But I personally thought the stuff was overpriced and not exciting. Also, it's confusing to figure out how much any particular thing costs. I made the mistake of taking my kids in here. I couldn't stand the idea of buying overpriced plastic junk toys, so I let them choose some candy. The candy section had a big sign that said "All candy mix and match 4 for $5". So we picked out 4 candies that were directly under that sign. But when we got to the check out, it rang up at $1.75/each. I realize that 50 cents/each is not a huge price difference, a total of $2 difference. But it is NOT what the sign said. When I got an employee to help with the price discrepancy, she said it was accurate as it had rung up, even when I showed her the sign. I should have abandoned the candy at that point, but my kids would have been devastated. So I bought the overpriced candy. But guess what. I don't have any plans to shop here again. Too much hassle and just not really worth it. I guess they got the extra $2 from me this time but I'll go somewhere else next time."

"This place just opened up. Great idea, lots of good stuff. It's been a little over a week and half the shelves are empty, which speaks to a price point that people can take advantage of. This is like a dollar store but with everything priced from $2-5 ish from what I've seen, nothing over $5. A handful of $5 items can add up quickly, but they had a large selection even with many shelves emptied out. They had tons of food, drinks, candy, art supplies, sport supplies, clothing, makeup, beauty supplies, socks, shirts, hats, travel items, holiday items and more. The corner of the store is still closed off as they work to set it up and have inventory there I'm guessing. The signage is fun. I love the brightness of the store and it was fun to browse their items and pick out a few things that caught my eye. Fully automated checkout with an employee there to help. It wasn't too busy when I went but still probably had 15 or so people in there."
