St. George Regional Hospital Sandstone Cafe

"Due to an extended stay in the hospital, and having to eat downstairs in this cafeteria I'm finally able to review. The room service options don't appear to be the same as what's in the cafeteria, so bear that in mind. This is only for the cafeteria. The quality of the cafeteria leaves a bit to be desired. I've tried the French fries three times but each time they were undercooked or cold. About the only thing that was decent was the grilled chicken sandwich. Pizzas are meh; sandwiches are so-so. The hot food option is hit or miss, and I wouldn't recommend the burger. All in all, it's nothing great and wouldn't be my first choice for a place to eat."

"The staff here is extremely rude and unhelpful. I stood in line and waited for a woman with glasses to take my order and she didn't even acknowledge me. I waited a good 5 minutes until a guy saw me waiting and took my order. The burger I ordered was extremely dry. Worst experience. Would not recommend. Definitely won't be coming back."

"Chuck does a fantastic job with every customer. He has become friends with half of the hospital. He makes a deadly pastrami bacon melt, but most refer to his sandwiches as "the Chuck special". Best hospital food you'll ever find. Good price too. The majority of staff here are all smiling and enjoying their work."

"The food is awesome! I've had the unfortunate pleasure of a 9 day stay in ICU. While here I tried a variety of dishes and highly recommend them all. This picture was of my dinner last night: flat iron steak, salmon, baked mac & cheese, caramel cheesecake and a coke. It was all so delicious that we'll most likely return to eat here next time we're in town... Update 21feb2018 Breakfast: Western omelette, Cinnamon-Swirl French toast, Bacon & Juice (Discharge today :-)"
