"Long but beautiful, takes plenty of water - 5 bottles per person, snacks to refule and good hiking shoes. I don't recommend bringing pets or kids if you are doing the full route!! It can be too exhausting, especially when it is hot out. Definitely recommend."

"From Durango, Colorado and I've been staying in town for a bit, but missing the mountains and pine trees. Took a few hikes through the foothills, but it's getting too darn hot to be in the sun that long, so I drove 45 minutes into the mountains, and I was not disappointed! Long hike, but I loved every step! Gorgeous flowers everywhere and the air was thick with their perfume. 10/10 would recommend"

"Really nice long trail. Climbing up the rocks is quite challenging unfortunately, but must be fun for those experienced in climbing. I liked the smell of nature, especially of the pines. There are so many different plants and beautiful butterflies to look at. The trail was 14-15km long back and forth."

"Great hike about 10 miles in length. Take more water than you think you need. Easy hike but long, especially when hotter outside. Can't wait to go back during fall and see all the leaves changing."
