Reviews of Liberty Lake Regional Park Public Beach
"It has a beautiful view and nice beach with a deck to walk on but it can get super busy and loud. The public access area is very small which makes the water looking a bit dirty on busy days. No permit is required for the car but they charge only $2 per person and free for under 5!"
"Very nice small sandy beach. The swim area is fairly shallow (not much over 4' at the deep side) so it's great for younger kids. The water today was very warm. It's one of my favorite places. It gets crowded during the afternoon so I like going before lunch."
"Nice groomed sandy beach, lush green grass, clean bathrooms. Lots of natural habitat area. My favorite relaxation place."
"Beautiful park, lots of picnic and lawn space, awesome sandy beach with a doc for fishing or jumping into the swimming area. Swimming area is roped off and shallow for kids so it’s safe and fun. Liberty lake is great for boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, camping, and don’t forget hiking!! If you haven’t been up to the cedar groves or the waterfall you gotta make the trip! But it’s a hard hike so not so easy for kids as it’s 8 miles round trip. But my kids made it to the cedar groves and back, with some whining, but it is beautiful and worth it!!! Also it usually costs $2 per person to get in so be ready for a day of fun to get your moneys worth. Also the campground is nice with flush bathrooms, a shower, tent and RV sites and the hiking trail right there. There is also dirt roads and a grassy area to play in. Tent sites are nice with level grassy ground. A must-explore place in Spokane!!! Enjoy!!"
"It's the only public access beach on the lake, but it's pretty nice. The water can get a little murky since you're so close to the wetlands, but it makes for a pretty still surface for paddling and swimming"
