"Took both my dogs here to get washed and nails clipped. My older dog is terrified of people and surpisingly did very well. However, my 2 year old ‘nipped’ at one of the workers while getting blow dried. I’m not saying that he didn’t do that, what upsets me is they stopped the service altogether. Instead of musseling him or stopping the blow dry, they just stopped the service. When I came to pick him up the girl checking me out said he bit her, which is very different than nipping at someone. When we brought them home my fiance looked at there nails and it didn’t look like they even got done. Some nails look good while others are still very sharp, his dewclaws are still dangerously long. I suggest taking your fur babies somewhere that allows you to watch them get groomed and isn’t afraid of dogs."

"I have to post this as it’s been weighing on my mind for many months. We had our dog groomed by the owner Rachel Tuck here almost monthly from the time she opened her business after she left Petco. We supported her when she desperately needed the business and always tipped extra to help her through a tough time. Now that her business is doing well, how does she show her appreciation? She did just the opposite. Rachel ended up telling us she will no longer groom our dog because he won’t stand still for her. We were flabbergasted to say the least. But then looking back we realized that every time our dog would go there, he would be more reluctant to go inside her shop and would actually even start shaking. We initially just figured he probably learned this trait from our other very anxious dog but now we realized he was probably not being treated too kindly while there. God knows what she did to him but we are now thankful she made that decision so he didn’t have to go through that anymore. All I can say is beware of this place and don’t for a minute believe they truly care about your dog no matter how long you’ve been going there. I sincerely hope karma comes back to this grooming shop but especially to Ms Tuck."

"So it was my puppies first time at groomers. I have to say I appreciate that the groomer introduced herself to my dog and stayed with him until he was comfortable to go with her. I gave 4 stars cause I did not realize puppy was not having it. Groomer said this was normal so they did a bath and cool gentle dry to get my puppy use to the place. Groomer then walked me through what I can do at home to prepare puppy for next visit in a week. I was extremely appreciative that they valued the safety of my dog and worked with him. This week I am trying to get puppy use to all the sounds at groomer so in a week we can try again. I definitely recommend The Royal S’paw to anyone. Looking forward to next visit."

"They do a great job with my dusty trail doodle! I trust them to take care of him, which is #1. They also kept him in their cool A.C. for an extra hour when my battery died on a very hot day, so that he wouldn't have to wait for AAA in the heat. My boy is very happy to see them and he looks great!"
