"Honestly one of the worse experiences I've ever had. I made the appointment online because I called during business hours twice and no answer. When I made the appointment it stated it would take 90 minutes. I needed to file 4 years worth of taxes.. nothing that special. I did about 500/1000 worth of instacart for 3 of the years. But since I knew it wasn't going to take 90 minutes I wanted to make sure the tax "professional" knew and can properly assist me. The only reason I was going into a office was for the one on one experience and for audit protection. So I again called and called and CALLED until I finally had someone answer the phone. I explained to the person exactly what I was needing and that I also had 1099s. I asked if the tax "professional" assigned to me was equipped for someone like me. Instead I was given a IDK and asked to upload documents. Which I refused. When I got there for my appointment I was met with Stan as my tax "professional" I started to talk to him about what I needed and explained that I just needed to file and didn't file in the past years simply because I couldn't afford it. When I told him I had simple 1099 forms, they were each 100.00 and under. I wasn't claiming mileage or anything. He told me that he wasn't even sure if he could help me.... then proceeded to tell me that even if he did help me he would charge me OVER $300.00 per year because I have "complicated" 1099 and would have to "calculate things like my vehicle depreciation". Which I promptly said it's under $1000 and I'm not claiming any of that. I just need it inputted in with my Normal W2s. At this point I am frustrated and it does show but I am a professional myself so I keep calm but ask questions. I received answers like "I don't need you to take this out on me" (after I asked why he couldn't find a answer to my question about the online services) I asked why he felt like I needed the most expensive services when I pointed out the price difference and multiple charges he was pointing out. His reply was "because I'm doing them, you should have done them". I also received alot of idk's. If I wanted to be in the unknown about this I would have done it myself. I left with no taxes done and very upset. I knew it wasn't going to be cheap to file but to try and charge $300 per year and not even be comfortable in your "tax profession" is outrages! Customer service skills were even trash. I'll never step foot in a HandR block again. I walked in perpared to pay $700 not over $1,000."

Plus, she will absolutely ignore any calls, emails, or messages, and when you schedule a meeting, she just won't show up. We decided to rather pay more money to IRS than spend any other minute trying to deal with this awful service."
