"Do Not Use These People!! They are not reputable and will not admit they are the disaster. Your property will be left out in the rain if you use them. They will trample over your belongings and will not be held liable for the damage they cause. They will flood your Kitchen twice with their incompetence after you have already suffered loss. They will charge you to remove the water they just flooded. Since I already had a company dry out the flooded area days before. They will start work before a deck sheet has been issued to the owner of the project. They will charge for work that was unnecessary since the insurance company had not decided yet if they we were going to get full replacement. They left exposed hazardous material on the floor....We walked over it for days and I begged them to please at least cover up the hazardous materials. They even summons my 14 yr old son to assist the hazardous remediation specialists retrieve his tools from his truck while the remediation specialists remained in the bubble-Safe behind the plastic, he forgot tools in his truck and did not want to suit down to go get his own tools so he made my son go get the tools and reach his hand inside the remediation bubble (hazardous materials removal) to do what the adult asked him to do! Most of the work that they did perform had to be removed or replaced when the insurance company settled at a full kitchen replacement. The insurance company replaced my cabinets because the remediation specialists left duck tape residue on the solid wood cabinets and it ruined the stain to remove the residue. They also blew the exhaust of the asbestos out the kitchen window and left debris on the lawn from the remediation. I had to rake the debris out of the back lawn so my dogs did not get sick. They did not care!!! NWDS did not appear in court today, case dismissed! If you are so honest, why are there two reviews about how you charge for work you never did....How dishonest is that!! Shame on You!"

"DO NOT use Northwest Disaster Services for any contract work!!!!! His original quote was $3200 to refinish our garage after a roof leak. All they did was the demolition and my family completed the rest of the work. We even made a complaint to the BBB 8 months after the initial claim just to get him to return our calls. He took us to court and sued us for the ENTIRE amount of the quote and the State gave it to him. He just got paid for work he NEVER performed. The State said we were obligated to pay him and then sue him for any money we were owed for non-completion. However, since he sued us first we don't have the right to counter sue apparently and he walks away with the money and $700 in interest for work he NEVER did. The mediation in the court is a joke, it does not have the consumer rights staked any where, you are put in a position of duress to agree to mediation and threatened that the judge will believe his computer print out "proof" of work completed and not our photographs. NORTHWEST DISASTER IS A SCAM"

"I have to say... this is probably one of the best companies out there for the type of work that they do. A lot of disaster companies will simply come and take your insurance money and not complete the work or do a shoddy job. Not NDS! They were timely and professional, really cost efficient and in constant communication with me about what was being done. Their contractors are the best. Rich and Ben, some of NDS's employees are very knowledgeable with a lot of experience and always have the customers best interest at heart. Gary, the owner, was onsite several times and really made sure the flooring and cabinet contractors stayed within the budget and completed the work within the stated time frame. I am not the easiest customer, I am very particular, and they absolutely stood up my expectations."
