"The vet, I know it changes every night but this was a 30ish year old male, was rude and yanked our dog around. When we asked to try the least invasive option, he got flustered and mad. Literally changed his personality in a snap and made us very uncomfortable. He also and rushed us into spending $700 without giving us time to think about our options. I hate when people automatically go for the most invasive procedures. I felt like he was very uncompassionate and we didn't feel safe with our pup in his hands"
"We can all find ourselves in the scary situation of needing an emergency vet! At first I wasn’t sure I should go but ended up taking my cat in! He is very sick and they tried to help… however being a non veterinary or medically knowledgeable about terms, it was very scary and concerning that each staff used all medical terminology for everything they tried to explain to me! Including giving me medication for my cat then talking like I knew what to do…. I ended up having to watch a YouTube video on how to apply the medication! Next time I won’t go there! Was not impressed! Granted I showed up right after a very messy injury but they put me in a room that still had blood on the seat and floor! Thank God my cat was not in there! Not a happy customer!"
"My cat was in dire need of care. He was attacked by another cat or dog and his leg was in bad shape! Luckily they got him in ASAP and stitched him up and saved him! He's wearing the cone of shame for a while but I'm grateful for the help and care they provided! They are caring and compassionate people and happy they were there! Thanks again! He's going to make a full recovery! ❤️"
"Brought my kitty in right after they opened on a Friday morning. They took him back and checked him out immediately. I ended up waiting there for 2 hours while they did whatever they needed to do, but I assume it took so much time because they were seeing a bunch of other pets as well. Doesn’t seem like they have a ton of staff. Comparing the line items on my bill to what I was quoted by my vet for the same services—a medical exam and wound care in this case— it seems like westvet charges about 50% more. However it looks like drug costs were about the same. I’m very happy I took my cat in and it is well worth the cost to be able to get your pet seen so quickly if they are really in need."
