"Went to their immediate care side - after being rejected at several of Wichita' s immediate cares ... Because it was too late and they had too many patients. This place was quick doctor was very good with my Son, and everyone is so friendly. They have a lab onsite, so they give you results right away.. will not waste my time anymore going to other places ."
"The service desk lady was incredibly rude and inconsiderate to me. She acted like she was above all clients and COULDNT be bothered to even act respectful at all. I had forgotten my insurance card at home and was sick with a high fever, she took the time to rant and yell at me while I stood trembling in front of her. I had forgotten my insurance card at my normal doctor's office once before and they simply looked it up on the computer and told me sweetly that I didn't owe them anything. This place has the most disrespectful, inconsiderate, rude, vain, and pathetic desk lady's I've ever met."
"I have always loved this facility. Gets us in quick even on same day appointments. Great doctors and staff."
"In my experience it’s a pretty good office if you are a mostly healthy uncomplicated adult. Don’t recommend for kids. The staff seems pretty unfamiliar with care of kids. For example vacinations and obtaining proper height/weight. Staff is pretty typical. Can’t say they are super efficient or very friendly. So far they haven’t been rude I guess. They do have lab work and pharmacy with urgent care hours all at the same location which is nice"
"I came into Derby Family Medical Urgent Care after calling them asking if I could be seen for a laceration to my head after hitting the corner of a shelf. They said yes I could be seen. I walked in with a napkin pressed against my head to stop the bleeding and handed over my documents and began filling out paperwork. A short time later the lady I was speaking to, older female, informed me I couldn't be seen because in 2015 I was dismissed for a non-payment. 2015 was a rough year but we went to collections and paid that debt. I said "So you wont see me today while bleeding from my head because of a failure to pay something 8 years ago. Even though I'm completely able to pay now." She said "Yes." I replied "Are you serious??" She yelled back "Yes! I'm serious!" I looked as if I was completely disgusted and confused. She walked to the back and came back 10 minutes later and said "Yeah, we are not going to see you!" I walked out completely confused because I was completely baffled that I couldn't be treated for a laceration to my head where I was truly concerned I might need stitches. Not to mention I wasn't seen for a bill that was 8 years old. I contacted an Urgent Care in Haysville and they were able to get me in. Turned out I needed ONE staple. I'm not a medical professional by no means and I completely understand it's one staple. But to turn me away like that just seemed unethical. I will add there were two families in there total. Some might say "If it was that big a deal why didn't you go to the ER??" Because going to an ER usually means waiting for a few hours and then it's a $200 copay. I knew I didn't have a concussion so I was comfortable paying a $25 copay for an Urgent Care. I strongly suggest going to ANY other Urgent Care if you are considering an Urgent Care. The one in Haysville was amazing! I also attempted the other Urgent Care in Derby but at that time of night they only had doctors seeing people virtually. They had no one on site to bandage or stitch/staple my injury."
