"Cool place, but very confusing when you have 2 games going on next to each other and whistles are blowing. You dont know which game the whistle is coming from and the players get confused, especially when its younger kids, plus there is NO CELL SERVICE in the building"
"We were looking for some court time while our daughter was visiting on Winter break from University of Arizona. Mettle was the spot!"
"Great pickleball courts.Great instructors to learn also. Can get very busy. Lots of parking. $5 entry or $40 prepaid for 10or $30 a month, not like Flying Pickleball, but very reasonable. Great Round Robins by 2C Club."
"This is one of the best facilities I've ever been to in the treasure valley. It is so clean and so organized, and very well ventilated. I always look forward when there's a sporting event at this location. I've done open gym here and my daughters volleyball practices are held here too."
"My daughter has attended dance classes here since this gym opened. Because we have spent so much time there we have also participated in the Parisi School and in Crush Volleyball. It's been like a home to us for many years. I've always thought the owners were super kind, fair and just all-around great people. I have noticed though since they've hired the new manager, Shay...Shae..., not sure the correct spelling, that the environment and energy has changed. I no longer feel welcome there and I really disagree with how the kids are being treated. A couple of basketball players (13 or 14) came in early for a tournament. They were simply going to the restroom and get water after they put down their things and Shae yelled at them to leave. They did not argue nor were they disrespectful at any time, but they immediately agreed and turned to grab their belongings. The manager repeated herself loudly and rudely "YOU NEED TO LEAVE NOW!!" I was impressed with how respectful these kids remained under this treatment when they replied "We are, we are just getting our things." Perhaps Shay was annoyed that my Dancer was on the court and took it out on those boys, I am not sure. But as we were leaving, I apologized for being in the way when they were setting up. We needed a slightly larger space for a couple tricks my daughter had in her solo and we have for years (rarely but for quite a long span of time) used the court when it was completely empty. However, my daughter's coach was stopped by Shay and reprimanded for being on the court. She apologized and I offered to pay for the time we used on the court since she mentioned the rate of $60/hr to our coach. She refused my payment insisting she "did not want it". We will definitely stay off the court and I advise any other dancers and parents to stay away from the court as well. We've always felt welcome here but no longer do. It is a great facility and I am happy we've had many great years here with our kids but I will definitely stay away from the manager from now on."
