"I currently attend the University of Dubuque LIFE program and I love it. Taking one class every 5 weeks really fits into my life - I have a 2 year old son, 2 dogs, am a full time employee, and my fiance works nights, so I'm busy basically all of the time. Only having to focus on one class at a time means that I never feel totally overwhelmed with the work load and I don't have to prioritize the content from one class over another. Bonus: The school helps pay for child care if you need it! Every instructor I've had so far has been wonderful, and the CFO of the school even teaches a few too! They absolutely understand what it is to be a non traditional student - several of them having been non traditional students themselves - and I personally feel like they'll work with me more on deadlines and issues that crop up than a "regular" college instructor would. The content of the classes is applicable immediately. The focus is not on rote memorization but how each principle works in the real world. Being able to attend classes in person instead of solely online was a huge draw for me, and I haven't regretted it once. My advisor is amazing and all of the staff that I've interacted with have been wonderful human beings. If you're looking to go back to school in Boise, definitely give U.D. a try."

"Take 1 class for 5 weeks at a time, 9 total a year. Meet only 1 night/week. Great for those working a full time job. Quality education. Supportive staff - less than 10 students in the degree program (as of this date) which means a more personalized experience and the ability to work around your schedule. Accommodating and ability to remote class if you can't make it physically."
