"This is the worst place to be if you have a mobility impairment. Limited handicap parking, no access to parts of the buildings, usually only 1 access door at ground level, doors do not have automatic entry. Sidewalks are not level.."
"Very attractive campus. Love the older buildings on site the staff and student body we interacted with was very friendly and welcoming. Thank you for a great experience"
"The professors and staff here really have the students best interests at mind. However, some of the outdated buildings and available technology for the students to use need large improvements"
"Helpful teachers. Small town atmosphere. Free campus wifi. Big theater and library. Majored in Comp Sci when I graduated in fall 2015."
"I attended NWOSU home of the rangers for four years and earned my masters degree in counseling psychology. I love the small town atmosphere that you get at NWOSU. Alva is a small town where everyone knows everyone. Growing up in a small town this was important to me. Even with the small town feel though I still got a great education while I attended. The same I felt I would have gotten at a major university and I was even able to get my masters degree. The teachers were easy to access and you had very small class sizes. The only down side was that I often had to take ITV courses from Woodward or Enid which really takes away from the learning process. Other then that I feel NWOSU offers a great educational experience for an affordable price."
