University of Idaho Research Park

The University of Idaho Research Park, located at 721 South Lochsa Street in Post Falls, Idaho, is a hub for research and technology-based companies looking to collaborate with the University of Idaho and other regional colleges and universities. Established in 1997 on 28 acres of prime real estate donated by the Jacklin Land Development Company, the Research Park aims to foster interaction between academia, research, and economic development.

The park offers classrooms for specialty courses designed and conducted by regional companies, as well as a reciprocal use agreement with North Idaho College. Additionally, TechHelp, a statewide engineering assistance program, provides classes on topical issues at the Research Park.

As a representative for North Idaho economic and community development, the Research Park plays an active role in promoting the region to companies from outside Idaho and eastern Washington. University staff work to retain existing companies and contribute to community development efforts.
