"Dr. Aguilar is the best. I was introduced to him by my sister. Her children had been seeing him since they were born. However, they are grown now. Once I found out I was having a baby, I knew exactly who his pediatrician would be, and he still is. I have 2 boys now, 5 and 2 years old. He takes care of my boys, and they both love coming to see him. His nurses and receptionists are wonderful and always smiling. I wouldn't take my boys anywhere else. He always makes my boys laugh and let's them listen to their hearts with his stethoscope. He even let's them check out the otoscope, which is a very expensive instrument. Dr. Aguilar is gentle, understanding, compassionate, caring, empathetic, and conscientious. He is an educator, a healer, a researcher, and a social advocate. He is also one of a kind."

"My wife and I called 1 month before our child was born to set an appointment for our Son once we walked born as my wife was a patient of Dr Aguilar when she was a kid. They told us he was limited and selective in the new patients he took on but because she was a patient he would be excited to see her as a mom as well as to see the new baby and to call when he was born. St Luke has a policy to have a visit set up before leaving the hospital. When we called to get it sorted, the extremely rude and curt staff told us he was no longer taking on any new patients and refused to hear our story of a last conversation the month prior. We are now sitting in the ER with our 3 day old with no pediatrician. While I can’t say anything poor about Dr. Aguilar as a provider or a person as I’ve never seen him, I can say his staff is not only worthless but so rude to the point of reckless. Great doctors can be ruined by poor staff. In this instance as we sit in the ER, we are committed to steering everyone we can away from this practice. Be advised, you’re baby is just a number and not a person or a patient and you will be left helpless as we were. Dr Herndon (completely different practice) immediately took us on and was woefully apologetic of our circumstances despite having nothing to do with him. We recommend Dr Herndon."
