"When we first walked in, all of the employees were on their phones and laughing messing around and talking poorly about a previous customer that came before me. I stood there and had to say TWICE “I have a reservation I need to pick up”. I made the reservation on the app and was told it was $60. I had the option to pay on the app but opted to pay in store. Well apparently I just should’ve paid on the app because in store it wasn’t $60 it was $109 for only about 5 hours and about 30 miles. Not to mention when we picked up the uhaul and moving equipment (utility dolly, furniture wrap and 10 furniture pads) the employee did not secure the dolly in the uhaul so when we were driving we heard it flying around in the back and had to pull over to secure it so it didn’t get broken or damaged. Then when we returned the U-Haul and equipment at about 6:30pm, we walked in and AGAIN employees were on their phones and didn’t even acknowledge us until I said “we need to drop off” then he didn’t even look at me, he remained in his phone and said “cool we will email you a receipt. I explained I wanted to know the total cost. He said again “right we will email you a receipt” I said once again, I want to know the total cost with the mileage. He sighed and said “alright well follow me outside”. We followed him and he checked the mileage then said “well you didn’t fold the furniture pads and they have to be folded. So you can either fold them or be charged $25” so we stood there in the cold and folded up 4 furniture pads. You’re telling me the employees who were sitting on their phones are incapable of folding up 4 furniture pads so that their customers don’t have to do it in the cold or be charged $25? That’s the most ridiculous thing I ever heard. I’m a pretty understanding person and rarely if ever, complain or write bad reviews but this was the most ridiculously unprofessional and the poorest customer service ive experienced. I will most definitely be calling and speaking to the manager on Monday."
