"Drivers speed through school zones. When dispatch was called about it, they didn't seem overly concerned. Rather, they sounded annoyed that someone else had called in to complain, too..."
"Maize Transportation people working there are great. They where fast at getting back to me about questions about the bussing and wht bus my grandchildren were going to be on."
"Horrible drivers need more training. Lack abilities to read picks up and drop off logs, everyone else's fault but there own. No repercussions for there actions."
"Nice people on the phone. I submitted the application for bus transportation a little late and I was told it would take about 3 weeks to a month to get him on the schedule. A month later I called to check in and was told the driver should have called me a month ago to let me know my son was on the schedule for bus 17-242. Now I'm worried about trusting this particular driver to do what they're supposed to do. I'm having to leave my son in this driver's hands. I had to advise my son to speak directly to the driver to let him/her know that he will now be taking this bus every afternoon to the proper destination. I'm assuming this driver did not want to take on another drop off location even though it's their job to do so. I will post again regarding this particular bus and driver on how they recover their mistake. My son will be taking this bus for the first time tomorrow."
"They could use a lesson in service. It’s my first year at Maize and I filled out bus form as soon as it was available (over 2 weeks before school started) No one contacted me with a bus route or schedule at all. I called and left several messages, sent emails over a two week period. No response. Later found out about that it was because my daycare, which is a street away from my house, was not “in district.” So they just didn’t bother to contact me, nor did they bother to ever return any of my calls or emails. Only found this out from pure persistence calling every day. Once I finally reached someone was met with attitude like I’m supposed to know (as a first timer) what the district cut off streets are. Terrible experience and service. Terrible way to start school year in a new district. They finally assigned her a bus route, but the fact that I had to persist so much tells me they don’t care and should I ever need to reach them for issues with my child, I won’t be able to. And I don’t want my child riding with people who don’t care. Not do I want to worry about being able to reach people who I entrust with my child."
