"Tara just showed us GESA's inefficiency. She doesn't know how to contact me even though when I applied for an account I submitted my name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, date of birth, social security number, next of kin, and a picture of my ID. Sorry, Tara, but if can't just look on your records to contact me, maybe you're not really interested. Or is it that you first had to consult with a banker, but when you arrived at your appointment, the banker had gone to lunch. This place advertises for new customers, but they apparently don't want any. I responded to an online ad to open a GESA account. I provided all requested information, including a picture of my passport. Later, I got an email saying my identity had to be verified before they could open an account. I went to the North Division branch with my passport, and they told me I had to make an appointment with a banker. I made the appointment for the following Monday and arrived promptly, only to be told the banker had gone to lunch. For some reason, the teller didn't have sufficient authority to look at my passport, look at my face, and verify my identity. After trying for about ten minutes to get anybody there to help me, I told the teller I didn't need an account and left. From looking at other negative reviews, I expect corporate will respond with the same canned answer."

"Can't even call a branch and talk to someone at the branch just a call center in another country that can't help no one lol I can't wait to finish this issue up and never look back . Real easy to talk to customers and not use a call center from another country ."

"Tomorrow's my wife's birthday yesterday we went to the ATM to withdraw $600 from the Gesa ATM. The cash was not dispensed and it told us to contact our bank. Gesa gave incorrect information to us and thud refuses to help a teacher on her birthday. We have had problems over and over with Gesa. They seem to care much more about marketing than taking care of their customers. It appears they are not accredited with the BBB and if you choose them you like me will probably have little recourse when they treat you the way they treated us."
