"I have just had 2 full knee replacement surgeries within the past 4 months. Rebecca Gillet of Cypress Physical Therapy started working with me 4 weeks before my first surgery on November 7th. During the 4 weeks up until surgery, I followed her program of strengthening and stretching of all my leg muscles. At my 2 week post operation follow up, my range of motion was already at 105 degrees and 2 degrees flat. By the end of the 4th week I was at 120 and 0 degrees flat. At the end of 8 weeks I was fully cleared with a full range of motion. My second surgery was on February 8th. It will be 4 weeks tomorrow and I am already at 128 to 130 degrees and flat. At my 12th day after surgery, my PT was amazed at my range of motion was 115 degrees with 2 degrees from flat. Rebecca’s pre-hab work program was a less painful and time saving healing experience. Having my muscles strengthened and stretched prior to my surgeries have been exceptional for my re-hab. Oh, I am 63 years old and have had two hips replaced as well as 2 major shoulder surgeries over the last 12 years. I wish I had Rebecca’s pre-hab program available then."
