"This facility is a smaller nonjudgmental outpatient treatment program where all of the staff are kind and compassionate. They truly want to help you succeed and if you need anything, they help you find resources if they cannot help you there. Getting yourself in to treatment isn’t easy when you feel judged or like getting into treatment will cause consequences in other areas of your life if your information isn’t kept private. Altruistic Recovery doesn’t share your information with anyone unless you sign a release. The groups are small and intimate and the counselors are both competent and respectful. There aren’t very many treatment options out here in Ontario but I highly recommend this one over any of the bigger providers in the area."

"From the very beginning the entire staff has been nothing but helpful and kind. Their guidance was much appreciated, and their flexible schedule made it convenient to keep my employment, while still finishing the classes I needed. The couple times my youngest had to come in with me, she didn't mind, because they made her feel welcome as well with a full mini fridge of beverages, and a reception area she could relax and color in.
