"Felt like I was buying a used car instead of trying to get connected with a therapist. You might want to lead your inquiry process with, "Do you want in-person, or telehealth? " Followed by, "Do you have a specific therapist in mind?" Here's another good question, "Do you prefer a male or female therapist?" None of these were asked, you just jumped in with all the invasive questions, then assumed I would be okay with a male therapist even though I requested a specific female. Stop doing this to people who are seeking mental health care."
