Reviews
"In 2013, Dr. Carter performed my laparoscopic partial hysterectomy. He left a bleed for 36. My bp dropped and I was unconscious with a descended abdomen. A nurse finally called the alarm. Emergency surgery and blood transfusion. Experienced TRALI, bilateral DVT’s, PE, intubation, life support in the CCU. Family came to say goodbye to me including my traumatized children. I fought and made it through. On the ICU floor Dennis Carter stood in my room and admitted he made a mistake. Suggested I real a certain book (don’t recall because that’s ridiculous) and my husband kicked him out of my room. But not before he informed us that he was transferring my care because he had a family holiday to go on. He never once checked on me after that. I was in hospital for almost a month. Went home on oxygen and had to start all over. Couldn’t climb stairs, shower myself, nothing. We had to file medical bankruptcy because of the staggering costs of HIS mistake. Took a year for me to recover. Then I get a letter in the mail not long after, saying he is taking early retirement. He was negligent from the start. Dr. Dennis Carter ruined my life. He put my family in jeopardy and he couldn’t have cared less. All four of our children were put through hell because of him. Watching their mother deteriorate and almost die twice will live with them forever. Dennis Carter, I’m still here not because of you but in spite of you. Patient 109"
