"I can’t recommend these folks enough! I’ve dreamed of a western multi day raft trip for most of my life! My wife on the other hand was willing.. but not exactly excited about this trip. A couple of nights ago she said “I wish we were back on the raft” and we are now dreaming and planning our next river trip. That change in her has a lot to do with how incredibly solid Salmon Raft is at doing what they do and the experience they provide."
"Unforgettable trip! Chris & Lauren had everything super organized & were involved in the planning & on both loading/offloading days & provided many special touches. Our raft guides: Phillip, Makenzie, Claire & Jonah all worked really well together, we’re super professional, responsible, informative, dependable, fun and knowledgeable. The food was great including the variety. The Snake River had amazing wildlife, scenery, rapids & fishing! Would recommend this trip to all ages & hope to make another trip with this company soon."
"Had a great time on the Lower Salmon with these guys in August 2022. The guides are SO GOOD! They put in so much work to look after you, paddling all day, setting up camp and cooking each evening. Highly recommended."
"These guys are top notch! This was a wonderful trip and the scenery was breathtaking. The guides (Kert, Metta, Esme, Scuba Steve, Bevs, and Jonah) were all amazing, kind, funny, generous, professional, hard working and very knowledgeable guides. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend them."
"Our trip with Salmon Raft was thoroughly relaxing and exhilarating at the same time. If you are considering this kind of trip and especially going with Salmon Raft, book your trip! If there were more than 5 stars, I’d give them. My husband and I took a 5 day trip in Sept 2020, yep during Covid. (The date stamp on the pictures is wrong). It was the last trip of the season. This year (and our trip) may have been a bit unique but here’s why I think ANYONE will have a great experience with Salmon Raft: 1. Our guides, Tanner and Kurt, were so professional. They maintained all necessary Covid protocols too. Our guides were definitely relaxed, personable and fun, but it was clear that they thought of themselves as pros first and foremost. It was obvious that owners have built a culture of respect for their guests, their employees and the natural resources. This translates to the employees’ level of excellence. 2. The guides attended to our every need and want...Second helpings at meals, assistance with a bag, cold drinks on the raft, etc. It was almost hard to allow myself to be waited on hand and foot, but I eventually saw that allowing the guides to follow their process, rather than jumping in to help, was best for them and us. 3. The food was restaurant-quality. I was surprised that such complex, creative meals could be made at camp. Even on day 5, everything tasted fresh. The guides joked that they only know how to cook 4 dinners, 4 breakfasts and 5 lunches, but boy did they have those meals down! There was also *plenty* of food. 4. The scenery is stunning. Our trip took us out pretty remote. The guides helped us get up close and personal with the river they love so much. They suggested good fishing spots and places to kayak alongside the raft. When they heard that we like to hike, they even guided us on a short side-hike to the “top of the world.” 5. We really did synch up with the sun and completely unplugged from technology and society. Our resting heart rates dropped significantly by day 2! This trip offers a chance to reconnect with yourself, your companions, and nature. If you want this kind of “reset” experience, I recommend at least a 4 day trip if possible. 6. But it was still and adventure!! Our Salmon Raft guides helped us feel comfortable and safe with the river. They pointed out opportunities for greater activity, but let us choose how much to engage or relax at any given moment."
