"The apartment complex looks nice, the only downfall is the zero pet policy, and the apartments look a bit outdated for the price."
"All because of a fire on a different property they're banned bbqing on the patio I've been here 5 years and never had a problem. I don't see it as a fire hazard. It's contained in a bbq it's small flames not any different then a stove or oven. I'm very unhappy with this new policy. They could have let me keep my bbq until I moved out I wasn't using it because it's winter time. How is it a fire hazard if I'm not using it."
"Any Douglas property in Spokane is dishonorable and full of lies never live in the Prairie Hills Apartments any Cedar, Spring Apartments or any apartments affiliated with Douglas properties they will charge you for For extra things when you move out, stay away from here for your own sake"
"Been here for about 3 years. The grounds are very well kept. Had a recent occurrence with a water issue, the maintenance organization leaves a little to be desired, but 5 stars is for the maintenance workers. The guys on the ground have great attitudes and treated me very well. Shoutout to Cody and, apologies for not knowing your name, curly hair and tattoos. Love those dudes."
"sure thought I was done with this place almost 4 years ago when we moved out. Out of the blue we receive letters yesterday from Crystal N. at Lance Douglas, a bill, saying 2nd notice, LIE. As usual, it's rude, accusatory, demanding and threatening. It's for normal wear and tear stuff that they are not allowed to charge for, but they do anyway, all things that were fine when we left, other than the made up stuff they seem to do do everyone. It is almost $500. We were paid up and haven't heard a thing for YEARS! I didn't worry about it and knew it was some sort of mistake. Today I called Crystal N who was clearly having a terrible day or life and an attitude, didn't look anything up told me I could choose to not pay it, but was responsible and will go to collections etc. Something is clearly wrong here, so I will figure it out. What a miserable way to be. Personally I enjoy being happy, helping people, and smiling. I don't know if they think it's normal what they are doing, that people aren't going to question this? They dated the repairs for 3 days ago! we left 4 years ago. If you are reading reviews trying to get a feel for the place to see if you would like to live there, read them all, and believe them. Some really messed up stuff goes on. I tried to see the good in the company no matter how many stories I heard from neighbors, I actually defended them the majority of the time I lived there, until I saw it for myself, I always try to see the good in people, unfortunately Lance Douglas sees dollar signs in everyone. Do you have to have a really bad attitude and the ability to be rude to everyone in order to get a job there? or is this something they teach in orientation? Sounds miserable. I am so happy to not be a renter anymore,"
