"I've stayed here numerous times while I'm in town for Steelhead fishing. Clean comfortable rooms. Fair prices!"
"We (hubby and I) stayed here while exploring the area and Dorshack Lake. Pleasantly surprised at a motel under $100/night! We stayed in a pet friendly room with our little doggy and it had no strong odors from previous visiting 4 legged guests. That made us happy. The beds were comfy and clean, no paw marks left behind. A microwave and mini fridge. Bathroom large with everything needed to get cleaned smell good. Didnt use the pool or hot tub, but they looked inviting. Hubby had the steak dinner offered by the hotel. The steak was delicious! Well seasoned and tender. A good price on a great cut of meat. Comes with a baked potato and a simple salad. Next time we will bring veggies to grill. I am had the fajitas from the local mexican restaurant, after searching for the "steak" amongst the overload of peppers and onions, the lack of seasonings made this an overpriced dish. Would try another restaurant next time I am in town. Most restaurants were closed on Monday so pickings were slim. If you stay here, you will believe all the great reviews. We will stay here again when we come back to fish. Friendly and accommodating staff. Enjoyed our stay very much. Quiet and close to town."
"We were pleasantly surprised by how clean and comfortable everything was. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were very spacious. The pool and hot tub were great after a long hot day of riding. The tables in the patio area were nice and clean. The breakfast was your typical continental breakfast, but the staff was very friendly and helpful serving it. You can tell the owners take pride in providing a great stay for their guests. You can't beat the price!"
"Might now seem like much at first glance, but this is one of my favorite destinations when I'm riding my Harley through the area. I always plan to stay here. It nears perfection! I'm not even sure I can tell you why. Pay for the steak dinner and relax in the courtyard. Grab a quick swim and dip in the hot tub (its small but hits the spot). Great place to stay!!"
"What a hidden gem!!! My hubby and I stayed here on our 2022 motorcycle trip. Hands down the most accommodating motel for motorcyclists that we’ve ever stayed at. They even offered rags and hoses for us to clean off our bike. We had a very comfortable king size bed and air conditioned room. Although our room faced the courtyard, we were not disturbed by noise from other guests or traffic at all. The pool was nice and warm and really enjoyable in both the evening and in the morning. The shampoo/conditioner/body wash smelled amazing… so much so that I bought a couple body washes to bring home (and with little storage on a bike, that says a lot!). Had we known about the steak dinner option, we would have requested that and scheduled ourselves accordingly. We did partake in the breakfast that was offered, and that was an easy way to start us off on the next leg of our trip. Overall an amazing stay, and we both hope to be back at the Konkolville again in the future. This place blew all other stays (mostly with Air BnB) out of the water. Great value for the money charged."
