"Realistically, zero stars. Came here to detox from prescription medication and had my sterling silver cross necklace stolen from me. It was on my inventory, but when I left, they conveniently couldn’t find it. I was also missing a Winco gift card from my purse as well. They blocked incoming calls for me as well. I don’t know what is going on at this place, but they clearly are shady and Don’t care about the well-being of the people that they’re treating."
"I have been to 4 mental health facilities in Idaho. I believe Lifeways facility is the best in Boise. The staff is enthusiastic and aware of their patients needs. The staff is awesome! However, there is always room for improvement. It’s important to remember that the people who work there, are also human. Things are not perfect. But that is a lesson learned through trial and error. I have personally witnessed Lifeways, make great changes/ improvements over the course of three years. I have been in this facility twice. They helped me to grow through my trauma. I’m forever grateful. P.S. I think the janitor with purple hair is fantastic! (I apologize for not remembering her name:) Thank you again, Laura Graham"
"Wow!!. . I can't believe anyone could give a rating higher than this... Would give a ZERO if I could..I was trying to reach a loved one and they left me on speaker phone (Could hear them in the background just joking away and not even making an attempt to contact love one)... SICKENING!!...CAN YOU IMAGINE IF YOU HAD A LOVE ONE AT LIFEWAY'S AND CANNOT CONTACT THEM BECAUSE OF A BUNCH OF VERY UNPROFESSIONAL NURSE'S AND STAFF???"
"I spent 9 days here. The staff treated me with respect and dignity. My incoming nurse, Erika, was very patient and kind, a real genuine person. Erika, I appreciate so much you loving care and am going to miss you. To the other nurses, Jim, Eric, Anna, Alexis, Divina, Jerry, and all the others, you all demonstrated a level of humanity and compassion that is so need in the world today. Thank you all for your wonderful support in this difficult time of my life. To the techs, Ibra, Jakin, Hannah, Shelby, Krystel, Hope Erin, Nora, CJ, and all the other techs I've missed, you all have a genuine desire to help those in need which I'm so grateful to have met you all. You are all wonderful people, so thank you so much. Never did I once feel pressured to participate in group therapy nor did I see them pressure any other patients as well. The food was very good. Breakfast consisted of oatmeal, some type of fruit, blueberries, strawberries, or black berries, a protein, usually hard boiled eggs or scrambled eggs and a drink, milk, apple juice, orange juice, or cranberry juice. For lunch we were served turkey or roast beef sandwiches with baked Lay's chip or salad. I would say the sandwiches were top notch. We also had chicken salad or tuna wraps. For dinner, we were served chicken, broccoli, rice dish, sliced beef from a roast or meatloaf. The sides consisted of salad, fresh carrot and celery sticks with ranch dip, mashed potatoes with gravy, or steamed broccoli and carrots, chicken carbanara with some of the best garlic bread I've ever had, enchiladas with refried black bean, and a chicken and rice soup. All dinner meals came with an after dinner dessert like mini ice cream sandwiches, spiced cake, jello, or a pudding. I thought all the meals had great flavor. With that, if you needed extra flavor the following was available: salt and pepper, ranch, hot sauce, and mayonnaise and mustard. Chief Glen always prepared our food with love and I appreciate his effort. To the administration staff, you have a great group of employees that are truly dedicated to helping and making a difference in others life. Also, a very big thanks to Lenette, I hope that is right, the housekeeper. She did a great job keeping everything fresh and clean, laundry picked up, and fresh bedding. I appreciate your dedication, as some would veiw this as a dirty j. But, a little secret, I like to clean the bathrooms too. Lastly, a big shout of praise to my SW, Kacey. I am thankful to have had such a kind, loving, and wonderful person to help me. You showed genuine concern for me in my troubling situation and never made me feel ashamed or worthless. I thank you so much for your help with finding me a therapist for my specific illness and I will always remember you. I am forever grateful for you assistance and hope that we may cross paths in public. I wish all of the staff the best and hope we cross paths in the public as well. You are all the best.."
