"If I could give Saint Alphonsus Maternal Fetal Medicine zero stars, I would. The front office staff are extremely rude. They would not allow myself (I'm the husband) and our children to go into the ultrasound room. The front office staff then refused to service my wife and our family. Myself, my wife, and kids then had leave. The reason I wanted to be in the ultrasound room with my wife was two years ago at this same office, they didn't allow me in the ultrasound room due to Covid and the doctor at this office misdiagnosed our child with down syndrome. Our child never had down syndrome. After this incident two years ago, the office told me to always make sure I am there in case a doctor misdiagnosis another one of my future children and I can ask questions. I made sure I was there today for our ultrasound appointment and missed work, but was still refused service. This office does not care about their patients. I called another imaging center nearby and told them the story and the new imaging center said, "We absolutely allow spouses and all your children to come to ultrasounds and be in the ultrasound room." The new imaging center couldn't believe a Maternal Fetal Medicine clinic would be so anti family and anti children like Saint Alphonsus Maternal Fetal Medicine Boise is. Avoid this office at all costs! Very unprofessional and very rude staff."

"Any experiences I have had with the ultrasound tech and doctors have been good but not enough to make up for the horrible experience, lack of customer service and poor patient care I have experienced with the front office staff. At my last appointment with the same office both of my children and my husband were present. Nothing was said then or when I made the appointment about their “two guest limit policy”. Outside of not knowing about the policy- I would have been fine leaving my husband and kids in the waiting room but the receptionist was so rude and really hateful - she told me one of my kids would have to sit in the waiting room alone. I have a 5 and a 7 year old who I would never leave alone in a waiting room. She was very disrespectful in her tone and how she was dealing with my family that I will not be seen by them and am considering changing my care team all together because St Als only deals with them for ultrasounds. I love St Als and have always considered them #1 for our families care but after this experience am having a change of heart."

"Don't ever ever ever go here and see Dr. Wrinkler. He is passive aggressive, incompetent, uncaring, and the reason I lost my baby. I was sent here because of the health issues I was having and it was the biggest mistake. To make a long story short, he barely looked at my ultrasound, didn't care that I had been hospitalized multiple times or had just had a blood transfusion - my appointment with him lasted 5 minutes total and consisted of him making offensive jokes and saying everything was fine. - Nothing about my condition was fine and when I tried to ask him questions he just brushed it off like 'it just happens.' I was then referred to St. Luke's Maternal fetal medicine for a second opinion and they were all AMAZING and my appointment lasted over two hours (that's how thorough the doctor was) but sadly by then it was too late."

"I had my 20 week anatomy scan done here and both me and my husband were so happy with our visit! The tech was awesome and captured some great images of our baby, and the doctor we saw was a character. Can’t wait to come back!"
