"This clinic is awesome! All women staff definitely makes for a more comfortable environment. Plus, I’ve been seeing Dr. Ruman for years and she’s great!"
"Ryann was awesome! The whole office is friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. In fact I had an appt with Dr Julie and found out at check-in that she doesn’t take Medicare. The young lady who checked me in didn’t hesitate and was able to get me in with Ryann immediately!! She was so very helpful. Ryann did a wonderful job of answering my questions and making sure I understood what needs to happen at my age, now that I am 65. I look forward to seeing her next year!"
"I love Women's Health Associates, Kelly Mcguire is amazing and so is Kristen Santana. Today was different since they were unavailable. I go in for hormone testing with a long list of symptoms I have noticed over my 31 years and have been mentioning for a few years now, so they are obviously in the notes. I tell them all to the first nurse and things are going well, besides her forgetting to log my blood pressure. Then it's time for the Nurse Practitioner to come in, Lori. She introduces herself starting off with "Have we met before?"....Obviously not, if you don't know me. I say no and introduced myself politely. She then proceeded to ask me what my symptoms are, like she doesn't have them already and giving me odd looks with every single one. Down playing every symptom, and then asking me what I would like tested. I said my hormones and she laughs and says, "We have 40 something hormones, which ones are you talking about?" How am I supposed to know that!? I say to her, "Well you are the Doc, you tell me with that long list of symptoms I gave." At this point I almost walked out, since she is giving the worst attitude I have ever seen, and I felt too embarrassed to keep listing them, but we continue. When I mentioned my libido being non-existent, she scoffs and asks me how my relationship is doing. After my explanation, she scoffs again and says, "so your relationship is...." and mumbles something to herself while typing. I have never felt so shamed for asking for help to find out what is going on with me. I am already freaked out, that's why I am getting tested, and this is what I received? She put in for a list of things to be tested, threw out my urine sample I gave saying she doesn't need to test that, even though I have a history that says other wise, and to come back after my results are ready. Was it really so hard to sit down and listen to actually help me? I felt like she was judging me for paying close attention to myself, making me feel like I was whining about just any old thing wrong with me. The receptionist asked if I would like to see the same person when my results come in, and I said I would rather not. She looked at me totally understanding what I am talking about, so this must not be a new thing. Get Lori Ruman out of your office, she does not belong at such a wonderful place for women to feel safe and heard. I hope this review leads to a very long conversation with her and a major attitude adjustment."
"Kristen was wonderful. She listened to everything I said, explained exactly what she was doing all through the appointment and is going to do some extra research on my behalf as well. I will definitely be going back to Women’s Health for all of my treatment."
"I love Women’s Associates. I especially like Mandy Renak. She’s a great doctor. She listens well and explains things well. I love her no- nonsense manner. I‘d highly recommend her."
