"Made an appointment for general care two-three months in advance, after waiting a long time( several months) to even get a reply from Dr. Carling. Besides spending considerable time prepping for the appt., speaking with staff, and completing paperwork, received a call 3 days prior to the appt.from Dr. Carling who stated she cancelled my appt. because she had a "feeling" that the potential care at her office was not the correct route, even without a consultation or analysis. I just thought the workup would be valuable under any circumstances. This set me back even further with my plan and was very inconsiderate.I appreciate it, Dr. Carling that you were so upfront about your poor customer handling, though, and saved me the trouble to spend any MORE of my valuable time with you."

"maybe ... but my wife wanted acupuncture for her depression but was, instead, given multiple 'tests' that showed she needed to buy hundreds of dollars worth of the supplements that they sold. She is severely depressed and has difficulty making decisions. But her (male) "dr" kept pushing supplements based on his testing. She never did get any acupuncture and now I owe them $350+. Not a fan. I would not recommend them to anyone. Maybe she does need supplements, but I called about acupuncture...not about health supplements. They may not even realize it, but I feel that they took advantage of my wife because she is literally not able to say no or make decisions on her own. The depression is that bad. I would have gone to the appt. with her except I have to work. The more I write this review, the more frustrated I am."

"Before seeing Dr. Carling, I had seen 13 medical doctors, none of which were able to help my condition. After returning home very sick from traveling to Thailand with an unknown virus, spending a week in the hospital, and 4 months of not even being able to get out of bed, I had lost hope of healing. Within a month of following her nutritional program, coming to acupuncture 3x per week, and taking supplements, I was out of bed and on my way to recovery. She is compassionate, attentive, genuinely caring, and very knowledgable. I never feel rushed, and she is always happy to answer any questions I might have. The initial health assessment is extremely thorough, and her holistic approach to health has already and will continue to change how I view nutrition, medicine, and what it means to be healthy. Whether you are fighting a serious condition, or something minor, I cannot recommend her enough. I don't know what I would have done without her."

Once we started treating the actual problem the difference was night and day. I've been going to Dr. Carling for over a year now.
