Northwest Urgent Care

"1/26/24 Came in here with my adult child for urgent care because KUC Prairie was closed. 3 hours later, still hadn't been seen. But they were quick to charge $115 for walking in the door! (Billing VOIDED my son's charge on a Friday and it was refunded in 5 days) NEVER AGAIN! UC's front staff are SO unprofessional. The conversations had and words used within EARSHOT of patients, is disturbing. PHI apparently isn't a thing, here. The grey haired check-in woman told everyone loudly that she was upset she got called in on her day off. Then she persisted with a TOTAL attitude towards EVERY single patient that walked through those doors. The brunette doing billing gossiped about people not doing their jobs and how there's a lack of "training". The RN was standing at the front counter having personal discussions with patients, rather than finding any other private place. The ONLY reason I gave 2 stars and not 1 was because of ONE woman working up front on the Family Medicine side. She was empathetically embarrassed by her co-workers, and found things to do that kept her AWAY from them. Way to instill trust & competence in Northwest Specialty."

"Incredible un urgent for a patient that was bleeding out for 30 minutes prior. They were exstreamly slow and had no care in getting things done even when in a near empty building."

"There is no point in using the online reservation system and wait time is horrible. They mentioned that it would be walk-in but it seems they only have one healthcare worker/RN/doctor seeing patients because there was only one other person waiting in the lobby. I arrived a few mins early for the reserved time of 12:30 and didn't get seen until over 2hrs later."

"This is THE best urgent care visit I've ever had. I had some residual issue from a lithotripsey I had a week and a half ago. The staff was so attentive. Daniel, the LPN, asked the questions he needed to and spent time listening to my issues. Dr. Ryan Wilson was phenomenal. He want beyond just the obvious to find my issue, which he did find. I'm grateful for that. Even the woman in the lab who I had to give my sample to was pleasant. She smiled and told me where to put it. A short, but pleasant interchange. Thank you."

"My toddler shut his hand in the door and needed stitches. They got us in super quickly and the lady at check-in was awesome! Super friendly and efficient. All the staff was wonderful, from the x-ray tech to the nurse to the doctor. They took such good care of my son and made both of us feel comfortable in spite of what was a traumatic injury. Highly recommend!"
