"My 90 year old father is at River Edge Rehab in Emmet for his third time. Each stay was due to knee replacement surgeries. My 86 yr old mom is unable to care for him and help him with rehabilitation on his knee. As a family we chose Rivers Edge for his rehab after the first emergency knee replacement surgery due to an infection in 2022. We were impressed with the care he received and the professional staff who worked with him. This made it very easy to choose Rivers Edge for the second emergency knee replacement due to an infection in 2022. Again my dad recieved excellent care and rehabilitation from the staff. And now in 2023, my dad had the titanium rod removed so he could have a new artificial knee put in. This time my father's insurance, Humana, refused to cover his rehabilitation. By the way, if you or your parents use Humana, consider changing because we have found out they are the worst. Do your homework on Humana. Because of Humana refusing to cover my father's stay, I had to work closely with River's Edge staff to figure out how to get him the care needed before he was released from St. Luke's in Meridian. I worked with Sarah P, Sarah F, and Bree H to work out this issue and all three bent over backwards to help. With their assistance and knowledge of the medical insurance industry my dad was able to get into River's Edge and the VA is covering his stay. I would definitely recommend River's Edge Rehabilitation."
