"I purchased an electric power steering unit for my wife's 1968 F-250 that we just had a frame off restore on. The truck was not pleasant to drive as you had to plan every turn around the moving truck. The addition of the power steering is a godsend. I am not a mechanic in any sense of the term. I do have some tools and was able to install the unit myself in less than an hour. The hardest part was removing the 54 year old original steering shaft.
