"It was an ok place to sleep. The beds were comfortable and clean. It smelled too strongly of cleaner. The shower stayed hot, but the spray was weak with how corroded it was and no drain plug, so couldn't even have a bath. Leftover towel from previous occupant behind bathroom door. Did like the breakfast choices in the morning and the coffee was decent."
"Dirty chair that needed to be in the dumpster in the first room. Switch to a second room that the bed was only a double for two people instead of a queen and very uncomfortable. I would not recommend this place. It was loud all night long, because when the door shut cleared down the hall, it echoed, like no insulation between room and hall. so close to the highway that you could hear the brakes on the semi all night long. The only good thing it was close to the Idaho Center"
"Only reason for a 4 star is the slow upgrades that are needed. The staff is absolutely amazing all are friendly and willing to help with what ever concerns you have. The manager Rachel is the best you could not have hired a better 1 I stay when working in the area and will continue Thank you for the great services"
"Have stayed at this Super 8 often over the years while visiting the Treasure Valley, and Nampa, Idaho. The location has excellent access to I-84 with many restaurants and other attractions nearby, and a short distance to the downtown area. In recent years, Idaho has seen a population boom, and with that an increase in big city problems. I feel strongly that this hotel needs to review it's safety policies and add or update safety protocols/security measures to protect guests and provide a safe experience and environment. I am surprised that the Wyndham name is attached to this hotel, given the overall condition of the rooms. The furnishings, bathroom fixtures and curtains are at the end of their shelf life, many things simply do not work properly and need to be replaced, many of the rooms have worn carpets and shabby stained fabrics. The building inside and out including the grounds are in dire need of repair and maintenance, if not total renovation. Some of the employees at this hotel have been working there for a number of years, while the housekeeping staff seems to have a high turnover. Happy employees are generally productive employees, many of the workers/ front desk give off a vibe of indifference, and the experience doesn't translate into feeling welcome as a guest patronizing their business. I think that employees could benefit from proper hospitality and industry standard training, and adopt a higher standard of professionalism. A note for the owners or investors of this business, I think it's time to take a serious look at how this hotel is being operated and address the most significant issue, that is the building appearance and condition of the rooms. I would become a return customer again if building security, and proper clean accomodations were being offered to guests, as well as friendly staff."
"The young man who checked us in was friendly and that’s the only reason I didn’t give this place 1 star. Our room smelled of old smoke, the carpets are gross and need to be torn out, as do the curtains. The bathroom floor hasn’t been washed in sometime. There were hairs on the floor by the bathtub and they weren’t ours. The shower head has never been cleaned or replaced, it was clogged with calcium deposits. We were on the first floor and our window didn’t open at all, probably because it was so thick with dirt. The screen was also hanging off and the chair in our room had a big tear in it and belonged in the dump. The hallway was dirty and dark and the back door was held open by a rock because the crash bar doesn’t work which is a huge fire hazard. We didn’t bother staying for the free breakfast because when we checked in, the front desk area, where breakfast would also be, stunk like old smoke. Had I not been traveling with my partner, I would not have stayed here. We definitely won’t be back and don’t recommend staying here."
