"Highly recommend!!! I stayed here for a month. Every sever is kind to me. Room cleaned very well. Breakfast has more choice compared to other hotel. I will choice here for next time"
"While the hotel itself was clean, the staff the evening of December 3 when I checked in was rather dry. Yes, I'm an elite member, and no, I don't "expect" special treatment, but a smile and acknowledgment would've been nice. I do, however, appreciate the perks that come with business travel, and this hotel fell short. Instead of bottled drinks (specifically, water), you are given drink coupons for the bar... and they served everything in glass cups. We simply wanted to take a beverage upstairs to eat with dinner. I also asked about the availability of an upgrade from a studio to a 1 bedroom suite, and the same lady checking me in acted as if 1 bedroom suites were none existent. So much so, I went to the website b/c I thought all RIs had various suites, and of course, the website confirmed what I knew. The morning staff was a lot better and happily granted a late check out at 4, but with the price (extremely high), and dry service by some staff, I may have to leverage my Hilton status when traveling to Boise."
"By far the nicest Residence Inn's I've stayed in and one of the nicest hotels period. The rooms are so quiet, spacious and comfortable. Everything is clean and works. Breakfast is nice and the coffee is great. Great location too - easy walking to plenty of bars and restaurants."
"The positives: This hotel is in a great location. Trader Joe's is across the street, and many delicious restaurants and city highlights are within easy walking distance. It is very nice to have a kitchenette! Feather free bedding was requested and provided before we arrived, yay! We ran out of tissues right away, but 2 boxes were brought quickly upon request. A foot ledge is provided in the shower to make shaving/washing easier. The room is laid out well, with a separate area for makeup/hair, at least, that's how I've used it, but the lighting isn't great. There is a full-length mirror, in a convenient location. You won't be able to see your back side in any mirror here without a hand mirror. There is a nice hair dryer, as well as an iron and ironing board (small) The negatives: All the possible lighting for makeup is extremely yellow. The refrigerator runs constantly turning on and off. The ceiling smoke detector light is very visible from the bed at night and blinks. The toilet is noisy/running, perhaps leaking? and there's no fan to ventilate if necessary. Although there is a venting shaft. There are two lights on each side of the bed (yay for having 2!) but sadly they are both bright, though they are of different temperatures. The heater/air con doesn't cool/heat to selected temp. It cools/heats until you've had enough and turn it to the opposite... Or turn it to fan only, which would shut off in the middle of the night, when I woke up stuffy, I would turn it back on and it would last the rest of the night. The room is serviced every third day. The shower is a fixed head, quite high, with no hand wand. A challenge for ladies who don't want to get their hair wet, but great for tall men. There is only a single control for the shower, so you can only control temperature, not flow and there's a lot of flow! Bring a shower cap if you care about your hair do. And again, there is no fan and the bathroom gets very steamy. There are also no amenities other than soap, shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap for the sink. I was very glad that I brought hand lotion. Tips: I recommend bringing a battery operated candle for the bathroom at night. The door opens directly onto the bed, and both of the lights in the bathroom are very bright. There is no makeup mirror, so bring one if you need one. An eye mask would help with the blinking light from the smoke detector, and with the bathroom light if you're traveling with someone and you forget to bring a battery candle for the bathroom."
"I was here with the family, we just wanted to do an overnight trip and this is were we ended up. As we pulled up the first thing I noticed was how difficult it was to get my truck into the parking garage from the alley. After a 40 point turn I was able to make it in. The garage was super clean and had plenty of parking even being on a Saturday evening. The doors leading to the elevator were locked and needed an key card from the hotel, this made me feel that much more safer. When checking in we were warmly greeted by the hotel staff. They promptly checked us in and got us out room key. The room was nice and clean and the view of downtown was pretty cool. The pool hours were nice and allowed us to swim the evening we checked in as well as the morning we checked out. The pool was pretty cold though. Hot tub was perfect. They had an average hotel breakfast that was provided, no complaints there. Overall we all had a good time and will be using this hotel again in the future."
