"I'm going to start by saying Wheatly's has straight up phenomenal burgers! Better than all the national & local chains, and if not the best in Wichita, damn close. The ingredients were fresh, no bagged lettuce or pre-made patties here. The beef has a great meaty umami flavor and the patties appear to be hand formed and smashed and seasoned perfectly. It wasn't greasy or sloppy, and the toasted potato bun was pillowly soft and delicious. The krinkle cut fries were also marvelous. Hot, fresh, and crispy on the outside with a soft steamy inside. This place is a real treat, if you're looking for that old school flavor with fresh ingredients, your search is over. Don't miss out on this gem."

"Wow. Do one thing and do it right in full effect here. Crusty smash style burger here, and the best example of the style I've had in the ICT. Execution was spot on, absolutely nothing I would change. They aren't reinventing the wheel here, they are just doing exactly right. Burger had a great "crust", bun was soft, onions were grilled, selection of toppings was very thorough. Fries were fresh and hot. The QR scanning at the table took a second to get figured out but not bad. Will be back, especially when the weather is better and we can sit outside."

When the worker realized they were a little late bringing out my shake, he took the price off my bill even though it wasn't an issue for me at all. I will be back again!"
