"This was the first time I had been in here last week since COVID. This will probably be my last time that ANY of my family will be in after what I witnessed between a couple of customers and employees. A customer ordered chicken livers and some of them in the box were taken to the customers way undercooked that were sitting at a table. It was so undercooked that the middle of them were bloody, which I saw as I was attempting to order for family at the counter. After witnessing what happened after another employee walked in, possibly an older Hispanic male and the way he humiliated the customer on what he said to the customers that were given the undercooked livers and those waiting on meals to go. The employees were unprofessional in how they handled the incident and the manager wasn’t onsite which made an uncomfortable incident even more awkward."

"First time trying this place and was disappointed. I ordered the duo combo and when asked if I wanted it spicy or not I asked if I could get half spicy and half non. I guess that was a bad question to ask because dude got a visible and verbal attitude and said he could only add the spice on the side. Fine whatever I'm not looking to argue when I'm ordering food. The chicken, catfish were average at best and the fried okra and fries would surprise me if they weren't frozen. The spices which I did sprinkle on weren't even spicy at all. What a weird experience because the folks behind me ordering were treated completely different when they asked the same exact question I asked."

"Fried food done right. An unassuming place with 4 tables, but plenty of traffic, that lives up to the high rating. I got the Duo Combo for $14, which had perfectly crusted catfish, a few chicken strips, and two sides (the okra was amazing). I'll definitely be going back."

"Lightly breaded and tasty. They make the Shak, cocktail and tarter sauce fresh and I enjoyed it all with the chicken and fish duo combo. Bright and clean atmosphere and gator is on the menu."

"I heard so many good things about it so I finally gave it a try for myself. Everything was made fresh to order. The chicken strips were lightly breaded and tastes like home cooking as did the catfish. Definitely going back to try the gator, gizzards, liver, and shrimp."
