"I do want to say they know how to wrap burritos properly, but man the food was just tasteless and unseasoned. This is a spot you go to after a night of drinking, and you don't care because you're hungry. 2 star instead of 1 because they had mexican waters and a large selection of jarritos."

"It's hit or miss really. I had a fish burrito from here a couple of nights ago that was pretty good, food seemed fresh enough, tortilla wrapped tight and right. I ordered the same burrito tonight and it was sloppy, ingredients felt and tasted mushy and old. Their shrimp tacos, one was full, the others barely had anything in them, tiny, basic shrimp. You can tell when someone in the kitchen puts care into the food vs when they don't. Their menu may also need updated or their employees need better training as to everything they serve because they have no clue about certain things shown on their own menu so you can't get it if they don't know it. What do we expect from a late night tex Mex food joint? I don't know, consistency, better food, better employees who care about what food they're putting out...but that may be asking too much. I stopped going to Lalo's as much (for similar reasons) and thought this place was better. Same issues, different restaurant. After a couple of years coming here, I've decided I'm done. I can make better at home and now I will do just that. (But if anyone reading this wants a good alternative, try El Ricardo's restaurant. Rene's: 2 stars out of 5 may be too generous. 2 out of 10. That's my final answer."

"I've ate there a couple times recently and haven't been impressed. I ordered the Supreme quesadilla and it was not good or impressive. There's barely any cheese, and it is loaded with avocado. To the point where it is liquid and makes it very hard to eat. The people there are nice, just wasn't impressed by this location."
