"Such a good place. I live by the N. Maize Popeye's but will gladly drive to this one instead. Both have nice, friendly employees. But this Popeye's has good servings size for their meals. It feel like I'm getting value for my dollar here. Would definitely, positively recommend."
"I am an elderly person so I go to the drive through. I waited about five minutes to place the order. I asked the woman why it was taken so long. She said if you want it fast come in. And told me there were only two people helping. I placed my order. She told me they had no chicken strips, it will be 7 min. By then 15 min. had passed since I arrived to the restaurant. I waited another 20 and my food was no where to be found. So with all difficulties I went inside and waited. A very rude manager asked another preparer for my order then look at me and said, oh this must be her, in a very rude way. I said I am sorry but I have been waiting for my food 30 min. Instead of apologizing he said I told you we were busy! And asked me if I wanted a refund. I said yes. He asked me for my ticket, I said I don't have one because I don't have the food. He said at loud there is always a Karen! The manager, being so disrespectful when all I did was ask for the food. Inside there were 4 food preparers not 2. No respect, rude manager. I do not recommend this location at all they always take too long!!!"
"We ordered online for a pickup. I got there to find out they were out of chicken nuggets. I asked if I could get checked tenders, they couldn't do that and I have to get my refund online. So I had to order more food and spend more money. The employees were not helpful and were walking around like zombies. I tried the new wings and they were good."
"We had a great experience at this location. Met with a shift manager, Jodi, and left there just loving her and her staff. The chicken was excellent. The store was clean and friendly. I overheard the lady at the register saying it was only her second day but she was as nice as all the rest. Keep up the good work and we will be back!"
"I still like popeyes spicy chicken the most, but my recent experience was definitely not the best. The spicy chicken was good, and the wings and mashed potatoes were just OK, but the red beans and rice had no virtually no beans. There was a smear in the bottom, but basically, it was just rice and not very good rice at that. I ordered in the app, and it said to go inside and let the staff know I was there. I went inside, and although there were plenty of staff busy working, no one greeted or acknowledged anyone in the lobby. Whenever anyone spoke to them or asked any questions, they seemed to be annoyed. After at least 10 minutes of being ignored, I asked a girl who came near the counter if she knew how much longer my order was going to be. She seemed annoyed, but she asked my name, I told her, and after looking up at the screen, she just made a face and said, "I just need to make it." Then she turned away. Another 8 to 10+ minutes passed, and then she handed me the food. I don't really believe these kids are being rude on purpose, I honestly just think they don't know how to deal with customers. Many of them probably never worked before Covid. They have never gone into restraunts themselves, never waited on people in open lobbies, and have no idea what to expect. They probably don't even understand why anyone would bother to get out of their car and come inside in the first place. They probably are actually annoyed that they have to deal with this odd new thing. I assume, however, that there are managers working with these kids that were around pre Covid, who know you are supposed to greet people when they come into a restraunt, tell them there are five orders in front of them and then say something like, "I will call you when your order is ready." This is a simple courtesy, not an awful chore, and if they do these basic things, they will be happier in their jobs, and their customers won't feel awkward about being there. I have seen similar things in other restraunts post Covid, but this was the worst."
