"All I can say is wow!! What a place! Great food. Great people. Best atmosphere. Bartenders are choice. Anything on the menu is fantastic. Do your self a favor, don’t miss out on this amazing place if your in Wichita, Kansas"
"Food was amazing as always however not happy with the server Hazem. I went there to celebrate my birthday with friends. At first I was getting grand mere chicken and he said to get something better since it is my birthday this made it felt like a force to spend more money. So I went with duck a’lorange his response that a better choice for the birthday. After dinner he offered dessert. We were full so we said no thank you. Once again he said not even for the birthday man. I then replied is it complimentary he said no. He then got us our check and brought a sparkler. He turned it on and said this is free loudly that the table next to us heard and laughed. Never have I ever felt disrespected and embarrassed with my friends. This was just an awful experience with the server and a terrible way to end my birthday. I spent almost $200 dollars here plus tip. The next day told the people that recommended this restaurant and told them my experience and they were shocked! They said birthday and anniversary celebration came with free dessert for the one person. I told them apparently not anymore."
"Wonderful first-time experience. Calamari was amazing. French onion soup could have used double the cheese on top. Salmon and steak were cooked to perfection. Our service was wonderful too."
"Okay, we will come back here for sure. Now it will be somewhat on the expensive side, but once you see and taste the food, you will know it is worth every cent spent. Took my wife here and we both tried two different fish entrees. The fish was moist and flacky, as well as bursting with flavor. Whoever chooses the sides to go with each meal has extraordinary taste. I'm willing to bet you could pick anything on the menu and you wouldn't be disappointed. We skipped the appetizers so we could try dessert and they were also delicious! The staff were all kind and helpful. The waitress was very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. They also have a nice drink menu. We enjoyed for really good wines. There's a few beers as well. I may try a dessert drink next time. They all sounded pretty good."
"My recent visit to George's French Bistro in Wichita, Kansas, was a true delight. The service, while exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, was notably slower than expected. This provided more time for conversation but may not suit those with tight schedules. The drink selection was impressive, catering to both wine enthusiasts and cocktail lovers. The open-air indoor dining area created a warm and inviting atmosphere. With tasteful décor and soft lighting, it provided the perfect backdrop for the occasion. Dessert was a highlight, with the Opera cake and crepes stealing the show. In summary, George's French Bistro is a culinary gem in Wichita. Despite a minor steak misstep and leisurely service, the exceptional food, extensive drink selection, and inviting atmosphere more than made up for it. The dessert options were a sweet conclusion to an otherwise stellar meal."
