"Was quoted $300 to install an alpine unit in my truck (this was my employer discount rate too). I did want to retain my factory reverse camera. Upon pickup, I was handed a bill for over $600. They said it was due to the interface modules needed. OK, I understand that. But that work was done without a phone call for approval. On to the next day, my backup camera started working intermittently. Called to let them know. By the time I dropped it to fixed, it wasn't working at all. I get a phone call from them saying that my camera is bad( camera worked flawlessly prior to their installation). Go to pick up truck and handed a $125 diag fee. If you like spending lots of money, go here, they will spend it for you. If not, there is a lot of other shops in town that do great work at a reasonable price."

"Be sure to ask up front if there is a charge before allowing anything done. Took my stereo in to have it diagnosed, I knew that was $100. I had a loose wire that came with the car we had no idea what it was, it was to a portable satellite radio, did I want it out or leave it, I figured it’s already torn apart so yeah take it out, well that cost me another $100, I was floored. They WERE honest about my stereo being toast and the cost to repair it, and seemed to have many return customers coming in while I was waiting. Very nice people, that additional charge just threw me."

"Very friendly, honest people. Came in to get my factory steering wheel controls hooked up and they got it done in just a couple hours. The controls have been working great with my aftermarket stereo and all functions work as expected. They also advised I could retain the factory USB location (for CarPlay) for a small additional fee so I opted to do that too. Prices didn’t seem high nor low, about what I would expect. I’ve contacted The Radio Shop in the past for advice and they have always been polite and helpful. Glad to give them my business!"
