"My wife has been going to the Valvoline center on Central, west side of Wichita for years. I stuck with a service center that was closer, but would take 3 hours to get an oil change. I just didn't want to wait today so I took her advise and she had a coupon. Again, she was right. I will be going back for sure for future oil changes. Staff is great, knowledgeable, clean, friendly, explained the whole process, and I was in and out in no time. No longer wondering what is taking so long because now I am there during in the car during everything. Oh, I forgot, no pressure sales. Thank you guys!"

"I was traveling and in a bind so I went to a Valvoline Oil Change location in another state and was pleasantly surprised with how convenient it was. So, when a trip came up that required a last minute oil change, I decided to go to the Valvoline location in Wichita. The experience itself is very pleasant. They were moving pretty slowly because one of the lanes wasn’t running, but still relatively fast compared to a dealership or independent shop. They’re also very friendly. They did try to suggest some maintenance items that they can’t actually perform (like servicing my sealed transmission) but I don’t expect them to know every nuance of every vehicle that rolls in. After pulling out of the shop, I noticed my engine was running a little rough, but didn’t think there was any way an oil change could cause that, so I went home, and left for a 1,000 mile trip the next morning. A couple of days later I remote started my truck, and noticed a shocking amount of smoke come out of the tailpipes. I immediately checked the oil level and discovered that it was way above the fill level. Valvoline didn’t empty the old oil, they just added the fresh oil on top! Luckily I was able to find a shop on the road that was able to drain the oil out on a holiday weekend, and they let me take a picture of how much came out. I get that mistakes happen, but this could have destroyed my truck’s engine. Word of caution, when they show you the dipstick, don’t assume it’s fine like I did, actually have them hold it up close to you so that you can confirm the level."
