"The food was good, I had the BBQ Sandwich and my friend had the French Dip. If you get the BBQ Pork id ask for the BBQ sauce on the side, as they used way too much in my opinion. The prices were decent and the staff was friendly. The place was packed for lunch. Give them a shot if you are close by and want a decent meal at a reasonable price. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd like to try more of their menu"

"The food was fantastic! It was a little loud and crowded, but it’s worth it. My wife had the goodland burger, with a side of fried okra. It was the best okra I’ve had outside of the Carolinas. I had the fried chicken combo. I would get it again and again. The chicken was amazing! Definitely made by someone who knows what they are doing and takes pride in their food"

"This place is a diamond in the rough. What a gem! It seemed a little questionable when we arrived but once inside, the place is very clean and relaxed. It gets a little noisy when filling up because it's a family restaurant but not overwhelming. My friend usually shies away from this style but she was very pleased as well. The service was great. Very friendly and welcoming and willing to come back because I couldn't make up my mind. About the food. Delicious! I ordered the brisket dinner with green beans and mashed potatoes, and my friend had the chicken fried steak with fried okra. The dinner came with a biscuit that had to be the best biscuit I've had since my grandma was alive. Incredibly light and fluffy with a melt in your mouth texture and flavor. The brisket was sliced thin but not too thin. Then I got a big surprise - there were 3 big slices. The fat level was good so there wasn't much waste. About the green beans. What does one usually say about green beans in a restaurant? Not much. However, I can't recommend these beans enough. They were cooked perfectly- not al dente, not overcooked. Perfect firmness and the flavor was as great as everything else on the plate. If given the chance I would have had seconds! The quantity of food is as high as the quality. This was a very affordable meal. Very inexpensive and well worth the stop. Do yourself a favor and choose this place if you're looking for something that will please your palate as well as your stomach!"

"Absolutely delicious! The lady at the he front desk of our hotel recommended L & T as good local food. She was absolutely right! Everyone in our family left full and happy. Our waitress recommended the chili rellenos, and I second that! Best I've ever had! My daughter inhaled her BBQ pork sandwich, I barely got a picture! The other three plates were attacked before pictures could be taken, but all dishes ordered were fresh, delicious, and just amazing! If you are passing through the area, this a gem you want to visit!"
