"Worst customer service we have ever experienced. We waited there looking at their collection of shower heads for about 15 minutes before the guy came to check on us. I told him we had questions and he told us “I’m not really sure when I’m going to be able to help you since I’m with a customer and I have a truck to unload.” I can understand having a customer, we had no problem waiting until he was done but he was going to go unload a truck instead of answer a few questions?….we ended telling him we would go somewhere else and headed to Nampa where we found what we needed. I don’t recommend going here, there is not enough staff on hand to help and the staff they have there is rude."

"I'm posting this review simply to highlight the performance of one employee in particular -- Ed. Anyone that has purchased their plumbing supplies here knows first-hand how important of a role Ed plays in getting your stuff quickly and accurately. Ed has chased me down in the road because I left some parts and a receipt behind. Ed has offered to buy me lunch. Ed has eagerly lent an ear to hear my personal problems, a shoulder to cry on, a friend to lean on. All I require from a supplier is someone keeping the shelves stocked and ringing me out at the end. What I got instead was a lifelong impact and someone I would consider a good friend. A note to the owners and operators of Standard Plumbing Supply, let me be clear. Ed is not just an important asset to your company, he is arguably *THE* most important component of your system. Without Ed, this place would be in shambles. This is not a slight to the other great employees working to keep this place running smoothly, but put bluntly, the performance of your store and company would suffer noticeably if you were unable to retain Ed as an asset. Whatever you're paying Ed, double it. And then triple it as a Christmas bonus. Make sure that man doesn't see a medical bill for the rest of his life. Make sure that man's family is taken care of by taking care of him. Not once has this man complained about his job, even when he's having a rough personal day. He is always there to serve the valley and keep things flowing. To end, let me clarify further -- if you lose Ed, you lose my business completely. If you mistreat Ed, same result.
