"I am a person that has a high degree of anxiety when going for a dental procedure , Dr ( and I use that trem loosley) Porter does not believe in comforting an anxious patient by providing any type of pre procedure medication on topnof that he demanded FULL payment before doing the procedure. Since when do es a healthcare provi der turn a patient away over payment. DO NOT USE THIS DENTIST ...his practices go back to the 1800's"

"My whole family (my aged parents, wife, child) to include myself have been seeing Dr. Porter for over 25 years. He is a wonderful, kindly man with an excellent bedside (or drill-side, ha!) manner who puts you at ease. His hygienist and reception staff are super friendly and always makes me feel welcome, remembering me by name. Dr. Porter does excellent work and has always been there for my family and I during emergencies. I once had a filling (that I had had done by another dentist in another part of the state) break apart the day before a business trip. I literally called him at 430 that night (I was to leave the next morning) and Dr. Porter got me in to fix the failed filling so I could be ready to travel. I can think of another situation where he came in on the weekend to help my son with a righteous tooth-ache. He installed a bridge for one of my two front teeth lost in a baseball accident that has been going strong and solid for over two decades. Bottom line - this is an awesome, no-frills dental office where you'll be in the hands of a kind, gentle, and skilled master dentist."
