"We were completely happy with High Desert Dental for about 4 years. We did regular check ups and were happy with our hygienists each time, they are wonderful. The problem came with my last cleaning. A few weeks before my appointment they contacted me to say there was a problem with my insurance. I was busy and forgot to check, however they contacted me again to say it was resolved. I didn't think anything about it (like I said, we've been going to them for about 4 years) and went to my appointment. A few weeks later I received a bill for $136. When I contacted them to see what the problem was (regular 6 month checkups are no charge with my insurance) they informed me that they no longer take my insurance. They knew that when I went to my appointment, but didn't say anything to me. I felt that was dishonest and politely let them know that was how I felt. They said they could check to see if there was anything they could do. I've asked them to help resolve this 2-3 times and they always say they will get back to me, but they never do. They only send another reminder bill. I've told them we have found another dentist, yet I continue to receive texts with reminders to schedule appointments, and reminders for upcoming appointments. I just feel like it was very dishonest to know I was going to be charged for the visit, not to say anything about it prior to, or at the time of the appointment. They just sent a bill and refuse to address the misleading business practice. For that, I cannot give them a positive review."

"Super awesome! First visit was today and Max, my hygienist, was very professional and informative. A two hour visit felt like 30 minutes! Dr. Trista is super cool and explained exactly what she believes is the best treatment. Highly recommend this smaller office. After being at a larger office in the past this place feels like home!"

She was so sweet, fun to talk to and definitely listen to my worries and answered all my questions. Seriously the best hygienist I’ve ever been to! The dentist was so fast and so personable!
