"I have had two encounters with this service department at Mike White Ford in CDA, ID. The first time was a disaster because even though the vehicle was under warranty and was getting “the works“ they did not change out the cabin air filter, even though it was on the list of things to do. When I requested that they do so, they said that the parts department was now closed and they couldn’t do that, so I asked them to make it happen anyway, which they did, but in the process they got grease marks all over my white leather seats and then had to clean them . I had to ask for the squeaky car wash coupon. The second visit, which was yesterday, I was not under warranty anymore, and again had a coupon that came in the mail for “that works”. The young man working with me called me and asked if I would like the cabin air filter replaced because that is recommended and I said yes. (When they did not do that under the warranty, they said it was because I drive so little and the area that I drive in is not an urban area and does not have a lot of dirt. But this time, although I still drive the same amount and still live in the same area, they felt that the filter needed to be replaced. ) They also told me that they wanted to replace the engine air filter, to which I said yes. No big deal there. But. Then they told me that they recommended that I get new brakes in the rear. $750. Now, my husband has been in Sales and Service his entire career. He has fixed everything you can think of on ships as well as cars. He works in things mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic. The story they were giving him about one of the brake calipers seizing, and pressing on the brake pad continually did not ring true to him. He took the car and drove it and drove it and tested the brakes every which way and did not find a problem at all. My husband says that if the brakes were needing replacement because of the seized caliper, there would be grinding or surging or squealing, some sort of evidence manifesting itself. They had no pictures to show a caliper pressing on a brake pad. They had no pictures of the brake pads showing evidence of wear. They did not keep either air filter to show me that they were dirty, there was no sample of oil to show me what the oil looked like, and they did not give me the car wash coupon that they are supposed to give me. In my opinion, it seems to me that they are, shall we say, misrepresenting the facts on the rear brakes. Now that the vehicle is no longer under warranty, except for drivetrain, I will not be returning to this establishment, unless absolutely necessary."
"I bought a new work van from Mike White Ford and the sales experience was great. Unfortunately, their outfitting department completely ruined it. The ladder rack was installed incorrectly, leaked, and was missing hardware. My requested floor material was ignored, the window screens were falling off the van, and the shelves were poorly assembled and rattled unbearably. They even screwed up a simple light installation. I'm now wasting more time fixing their mistakes than I would have spent doing the outfitting myself. Extremely disappointed. tldr: Botched van outfitting ruined my positive sales experience"

"I had a major issue come up with my ford, it would die and every time I fueled up I wouldn’t be able to start it for many minutes and multiple attempts. This was obviously not a great situation to be in with 2 young children. I called and was taken care of very quickly. Everyone was amazing and the knowledge that they had on the repair was great. They also fixed 2 minor recalls while it was in. AJ, Kevyn, and Conner were very respectful and knowledgeable. I was thankful for it all to be able with such ease and turned out to thankfully be a very affordable repair. I’m usually not a dealership service person unless it’s a new vehicle but they really did a great job."
"This visit focused on my doors (except the driver's door) not locking or unlocking without using the FOB buttons. I learned quite a bit about how many functions pull from the battery. I wondered why I didn't get any warning from my dashboard that the battery was being drained or needed to be checked. With all the other warnings, this should have been one. Would like service people to reset things according to where I had them such as radio, light switches, dashboard settings after using them. I am not fluent in using the dashboard so once I set it, I don't want it bothered. I appreciated Matt, my service advisor for contacting me to explain the results of the diagnostic and what would be needed to fix the issue. I felt that the guys were more friendly, but still would like to be met at my car after entering the service bay in stead of me standing and not being acknowledged that I am there or who will be handling my visit."
