"Love Longhorn! There are so many great memories from my childhood. I've been going there for over 40 years. Foid is always great. They did forget my side of beans today but will take care of it next time. For great food and feelings check them out."
"The place was extremely crowded for Restaurant week but our server came through for us . The food took awhile but after receiving it you can tell they just wanted it to turn out perfect. If you go when it’s busy just have some patience and take your time and it will be a good experience."
"We were excited to try Longhorn BBQ as part of restaurant week. One of the best parts of restaurant week is trying new places in hopes to find a new favorite place. Unfortunately, Longhorn will not be on our list of go-to restaurants. We arrived in the early evening and were one of the only tables seated at that time. Our drinks arrived promptly and we placed our order for appetizers and main course right away. The server had to come back after our appetizers arrived to take our main course order again. It took a while to get our appetizers and between then and when we received our main course was about 25 minutes. People who arrived after us, ate and left before we received our main course. The food itself was bland. What was supposed to be a "zesty, robust" sandwich was not. The ribs were kind of tough with bland sauce. We weren't offered any additional sauce for either our appetizers or our main course. All in all, this visit was a disappointment."
"Visited longhorn barbecue since it has been around since the 50s! Unfortunately, the buffet hasn’t been updated since the 50s. The baked potato bar had the toppings in bowls sitting in larger bowls of ice. The atmosphere was very fun and our server was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The food was good but a little overpriced. I would only recommend visiting if you can go on a weekday to match the price to the food quality a little more closely."
"The rich BBQ smell even before you enter! Great menu choices, but I chose the all you can eat BBQ Buffet (hot bar, soup & salad) at decent price . I was passing thru for the weekend in Spokane and looked for steak/BBQ within a mile of hotel. Happened to be closest...and was pleasantly surprised first impressions. Although I was seated about 5 minutes before the end of the lunch buffet hours, food was still hot & plentiful on the hot bar. I only ate ribs & brisket. Both were delicious and tender. The salad bar was a little tired & wilted looking that late in the day (2 pm), but there was enough to get a decent salad. I had the huckleberry margarita (a first for me) which was delicious (too bad I was driving, they all looked pretty good as they were served, especially the bloody mary). Soup of the day was clam chowder. A little thin, but was really very flavorful. Friendly and attentive servers. My server was Maverick....very attentive & his drink recommendations for both strawberry lemonade and the margarita, hit the spot. Ended with the a la carte- dessert - bread pudding. Absolutely one of the best I have had from a restaurant in a long time. If I werent flying back home, I would have ordered a couple more to go. If I lived here, I could see myself going back again...and bringing friends."
