Homestead Birkenstock

"Homestead used to be based in the Northtown Mall. Relocated to the Valley, they are still giving stellar service and selling the most comfortable footwear known to man! I bought my fifth pair, but two of the previous pairs have been re-soled three times! I prefer the traditional Arizona models, but that's largely because I'm "old-school". Glad to see them closer to my home, but would have traveled to them just the same. Do your feet a favor, Birkenstock them! Break them in right, an hour the first couple/three days, then 2 hours for a couple/three days more. Once you feel the base mold to your feet, you'll never be uncomfortable again!"

"Be aware that this is not affiliated with the actual Birkenstock company, they just carry their brand. DO NOT BUY A GIFT CARD FROM THEM if you are hoping to buy a specific Birkenstock because you can only purchase what they have in stock in their store at that specific time. I have been in their store 3 times and all 3 times I have witnessed upset customers because they think that they can return items they purchased online, or get a shoe fixed, etc. The name should really be changed to reflect all of the awesome brands that they carry. People walk in and go, “Oh, it’s not just Birkenstocks.”"

"My shopping experience here left me feeling extremely disappointed. Initially, I bought a size seven after trying on shoes in the store with their black sock. However, when I later used different socks at home, the shoes didn't fit the same. Even though I only wore them for about twenty minutes, the store refused to exchange them for a bigger size due to their stringent return policy. Knowing this now, I wouldn't shop at this store again."
