Wooden City Spokane

"Made a reservation for an early dinner this week. Have only heard amazing things from friends about this restaurant, so we were excited to try it. So easy to make a reservation, and even though we were 10 minutes early, they warmly greeted us and were able to seat us right away. We shared the mushroom skewers as an appetizer, and they were pretty good. We both got the fancy burger, and I was surprised we weren't asked what temp we wanted out burgers. This makes me wonder if fresh ground is used, and if it is, it been great to be given an option. The burger has pretty great flavors and loved the toppings and bun choice. The fries were decent, but could have been elevated. And I ordered the apple crisp for dessert, and it too was just ok. This restaurant has probably the best service in the city, and the atmosphere is incredible. I definitely cannot wait to come back and try other items."

"This is a very special find in downtown Spokane. Great place for a special romantic night out. Reservations are a must, but they do have some walk in seating. Really fun vibe with a super friendly young staff. Casual atmosphere, with an exceptional dining experience. We had the surf and turf and the chicken schnitzel. Both were fantastic, but it was the caeser salad starter with the made on demand garlic croutons that blew me away! Drinks were also very well made. Next time we will try a pizza or special burger! Loved it and will be back."

"This Place. LITERALLY. Do It!!! Go, just take my word, GO! Food was INCREDIBLE, Service was Out Of This WORLD. The drinks were EPIC and Creative!!! We had the Hungarian blistered stuffed peppers and the Bacon Pesto pizza. Couldn’t even tell you the Delicious drinks we had because we let the bartender be creative!!! For Reals, just go, you will thank me later!"

"Was greeted right as I walked In, the host was nice, I asked for a table for one and he said my best bet would be bar and it would be full service. I opted for bar and the bartender was quick to greet me pours a glass of water (which never ran empty the entire time I was there) had a Modelo Especial and ordered the Tavern Burger, the burger was delicious and the meat was juicy. The fries were crispy and tasted great. The entire experience was fantastic I would definitely dine with friends or a date and honestly the entire staff and clientele the service were so great, that I never once felt like I was dining alone"
