McClain's Pizzeria

"My husband and six year old daughter and I decided to try out local pizza joint tonight! When we came in, not a single staff member was to be seen for about 10 minutes after choosing our own table. There was less than 10 people in the restaurant when we arrived. After the waitress finally came out she asked us what we wanted to drink.. we got 2 lemonades and my daughter got a chocolate milk.. which took an additional 10 minutes to receive… when my daughter chocolate milk came out it wasn’t even stirred.. I had to take the lid off and stir it so she didn’t drink straight up chocolate syrup.. after she sat out drinks down we informed her we were ready to order. We ordered an appetizer which was the potato wedges we also ordered a kids meal with 2 slices of cheese pizza, a large Buffalo chicken pizza, and a large salad. After we ordered pizza a big group of young people came in and instantly sat at the bar.. my husband and I saw her take their orders and not a single ID was checked, yet she right away made a round of shots for each of them and beer.. We then saw the waitresses attention quickly turn to only the younger crowd.. We waited a tad over 45 min for our pizza to come out which is okay.. but we expected to have at least our app before the pizza came out but it ended up coming out all at the same time.. not to mention everything was SUPER COLD.. I asked for a fork for my salad as I was not provided one and had to wait an additional 5-6 minutes to get a fork because “she had to go and wash them” she did come by and ask us how the food was and we asked water for the table.. she only brought one water.. so we had to wait and ask for more water but instead went to the bar and started making her friends more drinks.. when we asked for our bill she was talking to her group of friends and acted annoyed that we were interrupting her.. when she brought us our boxes and bill she didn’t bring a pen.. she went straight back to talking to her friends so my husband had to go get a pen just to sign our check. After waiting around for an additional 10 minutes and get walking by the table twice without taking our card to process my husband stood up to get her attention then she finally came over.. Needless to say.. we are super super disappointed with our service and food.. it wasn’t worth the 60 plus dollars we spent.."

"6 kids and 2 adults, all happily well fed. We were given kids menus and crayons right away. Our server, Laura, was very kind and patient. The food was excellent! We ordered an 18 inch and a 10 inch. Everyone wanted seconds and thirds. We ordered a pitcher of lemonade too."

"Amazing service Delicious food - it has ruined other chain pizza for me Fun atmosphere with games on 13 different screens throughout the restaurant. Numerous always varying drink options Overall a great place - been going back about weekly since I found it a year ago. Highly recommend the calzones"

"McClains is hand down one of the best Pizzerias in Washington State. We wanted to get off the beaten path from downtown and we Anthony Bourdained our way into this little shop. Lucky enough for us the owner happened to be there. Rob is one of the nicest guys out there and gave us some insider info. They only use the highest quality galbani mozzarella cheese and you can taste the difference. They also have the only rotating pizza oven on the east side of the state. We started with Buffalo Chicken Cheesy Bread which was awesome with a tap IPA. We dined on the Greek and Ostendorf. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten that much pizza in my life. With all the TVs the game is easy to watch from anywhere and the staff is a bunch of hard working young folks. On top of all that we learned this is a Veteran Owned business and were happy to support that. Rob also let us know all the support that they provide for local high schools and teams. Top notch, high quality. We will be back!"

"Good pizza they totally hooked up the extra cheese. Great staff! Loved the wings!! Happy hour cheesy bread and wine was a plus!!! Kids were super stuffed!!! Nice atmosphere. Love locally owned businesses that rep good food. If you want the real classic pizza go there."
